Warranty

What does the warranty cover and what does it not cover?

We stand behind the quality of our products. From the date you receive your order, your purchase is covered under a 1-year warranty for defects in materials or workmanship under normal use.

However, the warranty does not cover:

  • Loss, theft, or misplacement of items
  • Ordinary wear and tear (e.g. scratches, tarnishing, fading)
  • Damage from misuse, neglect, improper care, or exposure to chemicals, water, or excessive force
  • Alterations or repairs by third parties outside of Youths in Balaclava (YIB)
  • Products purchased from unauthorized resellers
  • Promotional items (if excluded by terms)
How do I submit a warranty claim and what happens after?

If your jewelry arrives defective or damaged, please file a claim within 7 days of delivery.

To submit a warranty claim:

  1. Please contact our customer service team at relations@youthsinbalaclava.com with your order number, a brief description, and images/videos of the issue.
  2. Provide your order number, photos of the defect, and a short explanation of the problem.
  3. Upon approval, you are required to return the item for inspection and quality testing.

If your claim is approved:

  • If the same product is available, we’ll replace it at no charge.
  • If it’s out of stock or discontinued, you’ll receive a store credit of equal value.
